Thinking about the next wave of the firm, leadership recognized the business needed hungry and young advisors to join the firm since it was top-heavy with older advisors and older clients. The challenge was that these younger advisors are often expensive and don’t come with a big book of business.

Solution

The firm hired a younger advisor and Out & About Communications worked with him to identify his target audience and communications strengths. Market research was conducted and we aided with the execution and coaching of all deliverables.

Deliverables

  • SEO Tailors Content: We completed research and created content to attract the advisor's ideal prospects.
  • Podcast Launch and Promotions: We coached and supported the advisor with a podcast launch, promoting it via social media, email drip, and more.
  • Drop Campaigns: We created lead generation assets and drip funnels for the advisor to leverage.
  • Coaching: We provided marketing coaching to help align marketing and sales efforts to not do “everything under the sun” but concentrate on activities having the highest return.

Results

The content started to take off and the advisor was not only getting comments from qualified prospects — but he was closing deals. The long-term strategy play to bring on younger advisors and arm them with marketing support started to pencil out for the firm.
