Having been in business since 2015, the company was ready to clarify its messaging and positioning in the marketplace. It didn’t need a rebrand but needed a bigger-picture vision to see how positioning could all tie together and clarity that left their audience understanding their unique value set.

Solution

Out & About Communications worked with its team to zoom in on its brand, positioning, and visual assets. In doing so, we didn’t “tear down the house” but built upon the foundation to help the company gain a defined direction to flourish. We were able to nail the deliverables via a deep dive discovery and dialog along the way. 

Deliverables

  • Positioning Strategy “Starter Kit”: We assembled high-level brand strategy guidelines that included a positioning statement, elevator pitches, brand personality keywords, and differentiators. Alongside this, we captured its target market.
  • Brand Guidelines “Starter Kit”: The brand guidelines “starter kit” visually aligned the brand with the updated positioning. It included a “touched up” logo identity and introduced new colors and mood board concepts.
  • Updated Assets: Once the positioning statement was completed we identified high-value assets to update. These included materials like overview collateral, PPT template, and deck. These were “tried and true” materials that allowed the company to get a lot of leverage.

Results

The company was wowed. It was aligned strategically with a unified direction around its positioning and focus. It was armed with positioning documentation it could get behind, grow into, and add to — plus its team members had key collateral they could use right away.
